Kuromame Black Soybean Tea

Naturally caffeine-free. Roasted Japanese black soybeans (100% domestic) brew into a smooth, nutty, gently sweet amber cup — perfect for evenings, and a favorite of expecting mothers in Japan. After drinking, the softened beans can even be eaten. From Nakagawa Seiseido, tea merchants in Otsu since 1845. Brew: 1 tablespoon (10g) per 300ml just-boiled water, steep 3–5 minutes. Also great cold-brewed overnight.
